Summer is here, how to deal with excess body fat?
26/05/2022

As summer approaches and we’re all becoming more aware of what our bodies look like in our swimsuits, one of the most common issues our patients raise is skin dimples, also known as cellulite. In this week’s blog post, Nubway takes a deeper look at the root causes of cellulite formation.

What is cellulite?

Cellulite is a term used to describe areas of the body where there is a visible accumulation of fat, which results in the appearance of orange peeled skin or sunken skin. The problem is more common among women—about nine in 10 women , which begins to manifest during adolescence. Even slender women can be affected. Cellulite is commonly found on the thighs, buttocks, upper arms, and abdomen.

What causes cellulite?

There are many causes of cellulite:

Estrogen excess/surging, especially during puberty or aging, can lead to fat accumulation and water retention.

 Poor circulation leads to accumulation of lymphatic vessels and toxins.

The separability of connective tissue allows adipose tissue to be separated. When fat accumulates in the skin, skin depressions will appear.

The loss of elasticity and support of the skin can make the depression of fat accumulation appear more obvious.

Cellulite is a difficult skin problem to get rid of, but an active and healthy lifestyle can help.

How to treat cellulite?

cryolipolysis

Through the non-invasive treatment device, the cryowave is sent to the part where you want to lose weight. Without surgery, the fat cells are “frozen to death” by using constant temperature control for about half an hour, so as to achieve the effect of reducing fat in the designated area. Accurate, effective, comfortable, permanent, and typically 25% less fat in a single session.

Velashape:

Through the four methods of roller mechanical massage, vacuum negative pressure adsorption, dual-electrode thermal fusion and infrared light, the quadruple slimming technology is integrated into one, multi-level shaping and firming, accelerating fat metabolism, losing weight, and low risk of safety and comfort.

5D hifu:

This method is a non-invasive method to improve cellulite. This treatment tightens the skin’s structure and stimulates the production of new collagen. As the body follows a normal cycle of collagen regeneration, the visible improvement and remodeling of the skin’s surface will gradually appear. In most cases, only one course of treatment is required to see significant results.
